Welcome to the Engineering-For Your Information (ENGR-FYI) Listserv List. ENGR-FYI is a service of the A. James Clark School of Engineering providing information on activities, lectures, and programs of interest to engineering students. Postings to the Listserv List are made twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the semester and occasionally during the summer.

Guidelines For Posting A Message On ENGR-FYI

Examples Of Items That Can Be Posted On ENGR-FYI

  • scholarship and fellowship notices
  • student society activities, programs, and special events
  • international opportunities, programs, and events
  • community service activities
  • Clark School activities, programs, and special events

Who Can Request That Items Be Posted?

Engineering faculty, staff, and officers of engineering student societies can request that items be posted. The ENGR-FYI listserv list owner reserves the right to determine whether an item is suitable for posting to the list.

Submitting An Item For Posting

Submit your item for posting on the Clark School's calendar. Items posted on the calendar should include contact information and a brief description. Twice a week, items will be selected for inclusion in the ENGR-FYI electronic newsletter. Submit items to the Clark School's calendar before noon on Monday for a Tuesday posting or before noon on Thursday for a Friday posting. ENGR-FYI usually goes out on Tuesdays and Fridays during the semester and occasionally during the summer.

Subscribing Or Unsubscribing From the ENGR FYI Listserv

If you wish to delete your subscription to the ENGR-FYI Listserv List, send an email to ENGR FYI with your full name, directory ID, and the email address to be removed. Type "Remove from List" in the subject line. If this is a family/parent email address, we need the student's name and directory ID to remove you from the list. If at a later time you wish to resubscribe to the ENGR-FYI Listserv List, send your name and email address to ENGR FYI with "Add to List" in the subject line.
