Spend a week as a Terp Engineer at the University of Maryland. Find out what engineers do, how engineering relates to the world around you, and if engineering is for you.

Program Dates

One session will be offered:
July 21 to July 25, 2008 (Monday through Friday)

Times

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Eligibility

Students entering the 9th or 10th grade in Fall 2008 are eligible to apply. Due to a limited number of spaces, we are only able to accept 30 students for the program. We encourage students who have a strong interest in engineering, mathematics and/or science to apply.

More About the Program

During the week, you will participate in a variety of activities and team projects that will help you build self-confidence in applying your math, science and engineering skills.

Cost

$350 (includes lunch daily Monday through Friday of the program). Families must arrange for transportation to/from home.

Application Process

We received a large number of applications, and will no longer accept applicants for the camp.  Students who are currently waitlisted will be informed of their final status by June 6, 2008.
